Slovak technology startup Mobility & Innovation Production (MIP) was created with the merging of the technology company Mobility & Innovation and investor Rudolf Hrubý, who is the co-founder of a global cybersecurity company ESET.
MIP is a European leader in the development of emission-free city buses utilizing an ultra-light composite bodywork construction.
In March 2022, the hydrogen-powered version of the bus passed the complicated homologation process in cooperation with the company TÜV SÜD Czech. This way the company expanded its portfolio by adding the hydrogen city bus to the already in-use electric bus.
MIP accepts first orders in the year 2022 and launches a small batch production of electric and hydrogen 8-meter low-floor city buses. Through the year 2023, an expansion of production and of vehicle portfolio on offer is planned.
MIP cooperates in the development of its products with renowned companies and universities.
